The Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI) jointly with the Indian Bank organised one-day Workshop on “Committee of Creditors: An Institution of Public Trust” on 29th June, 2019 at Chennai. This is the third Workshop in the series being organised for the benefit of financial creditors who comprise Committee of Creditors under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016. A total of 22 senior bankers (General Managers, Executive Directors, MDs ) from the major scheduled commercial banks participated in the Workshop. The faculty included Dr. M. S. Sahoo (Chairperson, IBBI), Mr. BSV Prakash Kumar (Judicial Member, NCLT), Mr. B. Sriram (Former MD & CEO, IDBI Bank), Ms. Padmaja Chunduru (MD & CEO, Indian Bank), Mr. J. Packirisamy (MD & CEO, Andhra Bank), Mr. Piyush Mishra (Partner, AZB), Mr. L. Viswanathan (Partner, CAM), Mr. Vijay Kumar V. Iyer (Partner, Deloitte), Mr. Siddarth Suri (Partner, KPMG), Mr. Dinkar Venkatasubramanian (Partner, EY) and Mr. Sanjeev Krishan (Partner, PwC).
