The Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI) celebrated its Sixth Annual Day on 1st October, 2022 at New Delhi. Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman, Hon’ble Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. To commemorate its establishment, IBBI has instituted an Annual Day Lecture Series since its inception. Chief Justice (Retd.) Shri Ramalingam Sudhakar, Hon’ble President, National Company Law Tribunal and Shri Ashok Kumar Gupta, Chairperson, Competition Commission of India delivered the Annual Day Lecture this year. Shri Ravi Mital, Chairperson, IBBI delivered welcome address. As part of the Annual Day celebrations, IBBIs annual publication, “IBC: Idea, Impressions and Implementation” was released. The Annual Day witnessed presence of stakeholders of the insolvency regime. Shri Jayanti Prasad, Whole Time Member, IBBI proposed a formal vote of thanks at the conclusion of the event.
