The Insolvency Bankruptcy Board of India, GNLU Centre for Corporate and Insolvency Law, UNCITRAL and UNCC India jointly organized, a one day International Conference on ‘Insolvency Law and CISG@40’. The conference aimed to discuss the emerging legal regime on cross-border insolvency. The cross-border insolvency framework of several jurisdictions was extensively discussed by eminent professors, from across the Globe, in the virtual round table. Dr. M. S. Sahoo (Chairperson, IBBI) delivered the inaugural address. Prof. (Dr.) S. Shanthakumar (Director, GNLU) and Ms. Athita Komindr (Head, UNCITRAL RCAP) delivered the opening remarks. The Conference featured special address by Mr. Luca G. Castellan, Secretary (UNCITRAL Working Group IV). Mr. K R Saji Kumar, Executive Director, IBBI gave the vote of thanks.
