Mr. M. P. Ram Mohan, a lawyer by training, is a Professor with the Strategy Area of the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA).

His area of work covers contract management, company law and corporate purpose, insolvency, and business and professional negligence. He has undertaken projects and published extensively in these areas.

At IIMA, he has held the positions of Chairperson of Admissions, Convenor of the Common Admissions Test (CAT) 2021, and Co-Chair of the Institutional Review Board. He is currently part of the Executive Committee of the Misra Centre for Financial Markets and Economy, Member of Ashank Desai Centre for Leadership and Organisational Development, Member of the Research Guidance Group at the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India, and serves as a Member of BIS Committee on Consumer Policy.

He leads several continuing educational initiatives at IIMA. He is the faculty chair for the Chief Legal Officers Program, Sarabhai Leadership Program for the officers of the Department of Atomic Energy, and co-chairs the Contract Management Program and Senior Management Program.

He was appointed as Part-Time Member on the Governing Board of IBBI on 19th February 2024.
