Shri Niraj Kumar has been nominated as ex-officio Member in the Governing Board of
IBBI on 1st July, 2026 as a representative of the Ministry of Law & Justice, Government
of India. He holds LL.M Degree and has experience of more than 25 years in the field of law. He belongs to Legal Adviser Service cadre of Indian Legal Service. He is looking after the legal advice work of several Ministries /Departments of Government of India. Prior to joining Central Government, Shri Niraj Kumar was practicing as Advocate in Punjab & Haryana High Court. He has also worked as AAG for State of Haryana at Punjab and Haryana High Court at Chandigarh.
