Mr. Vaibhav Chaturvedi was nominated as ex-officio Member in the Governing Board of IBBI on 3rd December, 2024 as a representative of the Reserve Bank of India.

Mr. Vaibhav Chaturvedi is a career central banker, currently posted as Chief General Manager, Credit Risk Regulation in the Reserve Bank of India. He has more than 25 years of cross-functional experience in regulation and supervision, and has handled several important portfolios through his journey within the Reserve Bank. He has also been involved with several internal/external committees and task forces on key policy areas. He holds a Masters in Economic Policy Management from Columbia University, US and Masters in Financial Engineering from National University of Singapore.
