Dr. Anuradha Guru, ex-officio Member, IBBI (28th January, 2022 to 4th July, 2022)
Dr. Anuradha Guru, the then Economic Advisor, Ministry of Corporate Affairs was appointed as ex-officio member of the Governing Board of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI), as a representative of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs on 28th January, 2022.
Dr. Anuradha Guru is an officer of the Indian Economic Service of 1999 batch. She holds a Doctorate in Economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University and Masters in Economics from Delhi School of Economics. During her service she has served in various capacities in Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Commerce and Industry. She also has experience of working in the National Stock Exchange of India. Prior to her appointment as Economic Adviser in the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, she served as Executive Director in the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India where she handled a diversified portfolio comprising of matters related to Individual Insolvency and Bankruptcy, Graduate Insolvency Programme, Research and Publications, International Affairs, Parliamentary matters, Strategy and Board Secretariat.
Dr. Guru has written papers and articles in reputed journals, publications and newspapers on varied topics.
