The Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI) jointly with the State Bank of India organised a one-day workshop on 'Committee of Creditors: An Institution of Public Trust' on 22nd April, 2019 at Kolkata. This is the second Workshop being organised for the benefit of financial creditors who comprise committee of creditors under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016. 28 senior officers (General Managers and Executive Directors) of the major scheduled commercial banks participated in the Workshop. The first such Workshop was organised at Mumbai on 15th - 16th February. The faculty included Dr. M. S. Sahoo (Chairperson, IBBI), Mr. CH. S. S. Mallikarjuna Rao (MD and CEO, Allahabad Bank), Mr. C. S. Setty (Dy. Managing Director, SBI), Mr. Abizer Diwanji (Partner, Ernst and Young), Mr. Vijay Kumar V. Iyer (Partner, Deloitte), Mr. L. Viswanathan, Partner, CAM, Mr. Siddharth Suri, Partner, KPMG, Mr. Rohit Govil (Director, PwC India).
