The Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI), in collaboration with the Indian Banks’ Association (IBA), organised a workshop on 04 September 2025 in Mumbai for bank officers who serve as members of the Committee of Creditors (CoC). The workshop, brought together key stakeholders for focused deliberations aimed to enhance participants’ understanding of the role, responsibilities, and expectations of the CoC under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC) and to ensure that CoC members discharge their statutory duties with the highest standards of care and diligence. The programme was inaugurated by Mr. Ravi Mital, Chairperson, IBBI; Mr. Atul Kumar Goel, Chief Executive, IBA; and Dr. Bhushan Kumar Sinha, Whole-Time Member, IBBI.
