The Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI) has launched a series of Workshops for senior officers of the major Scheduled Commercial Banks (Financial Creditors) to develop an understanding of the role of and expectations from the Committee of Creditors (CoC) under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016 (Code) and to ensure that the CoC discharges its statutory duties and responsibilities with utmost care and diligence. In this series, a Workshop was organised in Chennai on 29th August 2025 for the officers of Indian Bank and Indian Overseas Bank. The Workshop was inaugurated by Dr. Bhushan Kumar Sinha, WTM IBBI, Mr. Binod Kumar, MD & CEO, Indian Bank and Mr. Ajay Kumar Srivastava, MD & CEO, Indian Overseas Bank.
