The IIM Ahmedabad in association with the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India organised its first Annual Research Workshop on Insolvency and Bankruptcy on 11th-12th March, 2024 at IIM Ahmedabad campus. The workshop was aimed to develop an insolvency research ecosystem connecting all stakeholders. Dr V. Anantha Nageswaran, Chief Economic Advisor, Government of India, delivered the Inaugural address while Mr. Ravi Mital, Chairperson, IBBI delivered the Special Address at the occasion. The two-day Workshop included 21 research paper presentations on varied themes, along with a panel discussion on “Ecosystem for Insolvency Research”. Large number of stakeholders of the IBC ecosystem, including insolvency professionals, legal firms, consulting firms, financial creditors, service providers, and other professionals joined the Workshop.
