As part of the ongoing ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ celebrations, the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI) organised the 25th Basic Workshop for Insolvency Professionals, on 10th January, 2022, in virtual mode. The Workshop comprised four sessions covering, the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016 and Emerging Jurisprudence; Operational matters in Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process: Expression of Interest, Section 29A eligibility; Evaluation Matrix, Resolution Plan and Compliance with Section 30(2) of the Code; Hostile Situations - Handling Crowds, Unlawful Assemblies, Law and Order Problems, and Non-cooperative Committee of Creditors & Resolution Applicants. Mr. Rajesh Kumar Gupta, Chief General Manager, IBBI inaugurated the Workshop and delivered the inaugural address. The distinguished speakers included, Ms. Harmeet Kaur, Mr. Krishan Vrind Jain, Mr. Sivanagaraja Taduvai and Mr. Amit Gupta, Insolvency Professionals. The workshop ended with a vote of thanks delivered by Mr. Pankaj Kumar, AGM, IBBI.
