The Board organised the 12th Advanced Workshop for Insolvency Professionals, registered with IBBI, on 15th July, 2021, in virtual mode. The Workshop comprised four sessions covering, Avoidance Transactions - Legal provisions under IBC and relevant provisions of other statutes; Case Studies - Preferential transactions and Undervalued transactions; Case Studies - Extortionate transactions and Fraudulent trading; and Reporting before Adjudicating Authorities. Dr. M.S. Sahoo, Chairperson, IBBI delivered the introductory remarks. The speakers included Mr. Dhananjay Kumar, Partner, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas; Ms. Aparna Gupta, Director, Deloitte; Mr. Gonugunta Murali, Insolvency Professional; and Mr. G P Madaan, Insolvency Professional. Mr. Santosh Kumar Shukla, ED, IBBI in his concluding remarks encouraged the participants to be diligent in filing timely application for avoidance transactions that would incentivise faster resolution and delivered the vote of thanks.
